IMPORTANT REMINDER
Printed tickets are no longer considered USED. Where an e-ticket shows OPEN status, a revalidation and reissue can be processed on Galileo. Alternatively, the traveller can exchange their ticket at the ticket office, or for a free exchange they can use the e-ticket machines.
When changes are made by eurostar4agents these are not reflected back into your GDS. Please do not add in any GK or PK sectors as this causes the booking to corrupt. If you need to have a note in the booking of the change, just enter these as a remark.
Revalidations - use revalidation process where there is no fare change (Fully Flexible). A change fee may be involved (Semi Flexible fare, where there is no change of class).
- Revalidation must be completed within 2 months of travel date.
- Always check ticket conditions before processing.
- Where an e-ticket shows OPEN status, a revalidation can be processed on Galileo.
- Cancel and rebook in the normal way.
- ER then IR to refresh booking and check new seat details.
- Revalidate in the normal way.
- Change fees should be raised as a MCO through Galileo. Eurostar does not require additional information to be sent using OSI messages.
Reissues – The following reissue process should be used where there is a change in fare on to a different train.
- Always check ticket conditions before processing.
- Where an e-ticket shows OPEN status, a reissue can be processed on Galileo.
- Cancel sector that you wish to change, check availability of new sector required, rebook new sector, and receive and ER.
- IR to refresh booking and check new seat detail.
- Reissue the e-ticket at 'nil' value
- Ensure that the correct applicable additional collection on the fare and the associated change fee is collected via issuing an MCO for the appropriate amount.
- The additional collection and change fees should be raised as a MCO through Galileo. Eurostar does not require additional information to be sent using OSI messages.
