Eurostar is dedicated to providing the highest level of service for all its passengers including those who require additional facilities and services. St Pancras, Ebbsfleet and Ashford International Terminals feature:

  • Coloured markers on pillars and other obstacles
  • Lifts with controls at wheelchair height and in Braille
  • Ramps for level changes with handrails and intermediate landings
  • Tactile Surfaces to alert the visually impaired and partially sighted to
    platform edges.

Wheelchairs

If you make a wheelchair booking on Eurostar you will be travelling in the dedicated wheelchair passenger space located in one of our Standard Premier and Business Premier carriages. A companion may travel with you at a discounted rate.

There are two designated areas, each for one wheelchair user and a companion, in Business Premier or Standard Premier coaches 9 and 10 - each fitted with a 'call for aid' button. These areas offer wheelchair users the option to stay in their chair should they wish and must be used if passengers are unable to walk at least 200m unaided. Please note that the designated wheelchair spaces are for use by passengers who have their own wheelchair. Eurostar door widths are as follows:

Toilet: 522mm / Exit door: 850mm / Disabled person's toilet: 720mm

Blind Passengers and Guide Dogs

Eurostar is pleased to announce that guide dogs for the blind are now allowed on board on the following routes:

  • London St Pancras - Paris - London St Pancras
  • London St Pancras - Brussels - London St Pancras
  • London St Pancras - Lille - London St Pancras

Please note that Ashford station is not yet equipped to deal with guide dogs.
This service can be booked at the same time as the booking is made for the blind passenger, by calling Eurostar 4 Agents on 08448 242524.

Toilet

A toilet for disabled passengers is located in Business Premier or Standard Premier coaches 9 and 10 - each fitted with a 'call for aid' button. Toilets for disabled passengers with a 'call for aid' button are also available in the departure lounges at St Pancras International and Ashford International stations.

Special Assistance

Special assistance is no longer bookable in advance. Assistance is available in person on day of travel at the assistance desk. Subject to availability. Special assistance is available for wheelchair users, passengers with restricted mobility and other special needs.

Do you use a mobility scooter?

Travellers who require mobility scooters to be taken with them during their journeys may carry them on board Eurostar without additional charge in the special luggage hold on our trains.

In order for the scooter to be able to access our platforms and trains via the lifts and ramps, it should not exceed 100cm (1 metre) in width. To make sure that space is made available on busier services and during peak travel times such as Weekends, Bank Holidays and School Holidays, you should advise Eurostar in advance of your arrival by calling Espirit Europe (08705 850850 from 07:00 to 21:00 daily).

If you arrive unannounced at Eurostar terminals we cannot guarantee the required space on your intended service.

Scooters that use combustible fuel cannot be carried on any Eurostar service only those operated by electricity or battery power may be carried.
